
Biography
Corinne Hart began her dance training in Mundelein, Illinois. While in Illinois, she trained at Dancenter North in multiple dance styles such as tap, ballet, lyrical, modern, and jazz. Corinne was the only applicant of her age to be accepted into the school's Pre-Professional Program, gifting her the opportunity to work closely under renowned faculty such as Greg Begley of Hubbard Street Dance and Jennifer Callaghan of Milwaukee Ballet. In addition to her local training, she studied across the nation at summer programs including North Carolina Dance Theater, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, The Rock School for Dance Education, and Ruth Page Center for the Arts.
Ms. Hart received her BFA in Dance with a minor in Nutritional Studies at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2017, where she performed works by Stefanie Batten Bland, Ori Flomin, and Cherylyn Lavagnino. Since graduating, Ms. Hart has worked and performed with various NYC-based companies and choreographers including RIOULT Dance NY, Cherylyn Lavagnino Dance, DiLorenzo & Co., Ori Flomin, and Caitlin Sikora. Ms. Hart continues to have a diverse performance career including performing in the Florence Dance Festival in Italy and at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater, among various venues around NYC and upstate NY.
Corinne loves to teach ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, and hip hop to young dancers and beginner adult students. She has had the opportunity to teach at New York University (Adjunct Instructor), University of Utah, Southern Methodist University, Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance (CT), RIOULT Dance Center (NY), Toscana Dance HUB (ITALY), and Dancenter North (IL). Ms. Hart is presently on staff at Pure Movement Dance Center (NJ) and 5678 Dance (NY).
Corinne’s career is centered around supporting artists and organizations both onstage and behind the scenes. Through her business Corinne Hart LLC, Corinne offers custom Squarespace web design and arts-focused consulting. She is passionate about helping artists, creatives, and mission-driven organizations clarify their message, strengthen their operations, and build a beautiful, functional online presence that reflects who they are. She has worked extensively in the non-profit dance sector since 2017. Ms. Hart’s expertise spans grant writing, strategic planning, development, donor relations, digital communications, and more.
